POSING YOUR SUBJECT ON A BACKGROUND

....................One of the common mistakes we see with new photographers when working with a Photography Background for the first time is posing the subject to close to the background.
For example If you are using a 10'x20' muslin background and plan to shoot a full length portrait you should have your subject pulled forward by at least about 2-4 feet. This will make for easy lighting and no shadows in your background.
